What we collect
- Your email address, if you sign up. You can sign up for draw emails on our pages, or before you visit a partner. We save your address, what you signed up for, the date, and your approximate state or country from your connection. We use it only to send what you asked for, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Partner clicks. When you click a partner button, we record a random click ID, which partner and which spot on our site, the page you came from, your approximate state or country, and your browser type. We use it to see which parts of our site send visitors to partners, and we don't share it with the partner or anyone else. We keep click records for up to two years.
- Settings in your browser. If you pick a site style, your choice is saved in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
- State suggestion. On pages with a state picker, our host estimates your US state from your connection. We save only the two-letter state code in a cookie for one day so the picker can suggest it. It isn't used for tracking.
- Calculators run in your browser. Numbers you type into calculators aren't sent to us.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to run and protect the site.
- Visit statistics. Google Analytics is the only analytics tool we use, and only to understand our visitors better: which pages are read, how people find us, and what devices they use. We use it in anonymized form: Google Analytics doesn't store IP addresses, and we've turned off Google's cross-device tracking and ad personalization. It sets its own cookies (named
_ga) to tell new visits from returning ones. We never send it your email address or anything you type into calculators. You can opt out with Google's opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies for this site.
Who stores it
The site runs on Vercel, email addresses and click records are stored in a database run by Neon, and visit statistics are processed by Google Analytics. Partner sites you visit have their own privacy policies and cookies.
What we don't do
- We don't sell personal information.
- We don't use advertising trackers or ad cookies on our site. The only cookies are Google Analytics statistics and the one-day state suggestion.
Your choices
Use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop emails. To have your email address deleted, ask us from the address you signed up with.
Age
This site is for adults. You must meet the minimum age for lottery play in your state, which is 18 in most states and higher in some. Partner sites set their own minimum age, shown next to each partner button.
