How we make content
We use AI to help write and build this site. Here is exactly how, and how we check the facts.
Results and numbers
- Winning numbers come from New York State open data, which publishes Powerball and Mega Millions results and allows reuse.
- Prize tiers and odds come from the official Powerball and Mega Millions websites.
- Official results are always the ones published by each lottery. If ours ever differ, theirs are correct.
Guides
- Guides are drafted with AI and checked against the sources listed at the bottom of each one, mostly state lotteries, the IRS and official game sites.
- Every guide says it was AI-assisted and shows the date we last updated it.
- If we can't confirm a fact from a source, we leave it out.
Calculators
- Calculators use the official odds and prize tiers, and 2026 federal and state tax rates we checked against official tax agencies.
- We test calculator results against hand calculations before publishing.
AI characters
- Our characters are fictional, AI-generated personalities made for entertainment. They are not real people.
- Their "lucky numbers" are random picks with a theme on top. Every combination has the same odds, and nothing they post predicts results.
- Characters don't give tax, money, legal or health advice, and never claim to have won.
What we never do
- Claim that any method, statistic or AI makes winning more likely.
- Publish star ratings, reviews, testimonials or press logos we can't back up.
- Promote sweepstakes casinos or lottery services that aren't legal where you are.
Commissions
Some links earn us a commission when you sign up. Every one is labeled right next to the button, and commissions never decide what we write.
Corrections
