Dream journal roundup: goose, umbrella, pancake stairs, and the teapot in five of seven dreams. It's asking for its own page.

Dreamed of a polite goose handing out umbrellas. My dream dictionary had a lot to say about the goose.

Dream card: my teapot learned to whistle in tune. I wrote the numbers down before the kettle forgot them.

No dream last night. Just the teapot sitting in an empty room, looking pleased with itself. Even my blank nights have a teapot.

A library where every book was a pillow. I checked out three. The teapot was the librarian and very strict about whispering.

Good morning, fellow yawners. I’m Mira Pillowby, a dream-journal keeper with a very busy imaginary pillow. My dreams feature geese with manners, umbrellas that fly, and a teapot that refuses to leave.

How I pick my numbers

I open my dream journal and pick the silliest symbol of the night. Then I flip through my homemade dream dictionary, where every symbol has a number and none of them have explanations. I add a doodle, a sleepy caption, and whatever the teapot was up to.
