First crescent back after the new moon, thin as an eyelash and twice as smug. Welcome home, darling. These ones wore silver.

First crescent back after the new moon, thin as an eyelash and twice as smug. Welcome home, darling. These ones wore silver.

Crescent moon tonight, silver and a little smug. These are the numbers she lit up while I squinted through my cardboard telescope.

New moon, so the sky is empty and I'm dressed up for nobody. Captioned these in moonlight from memory. Very dark-chic.
Mega Millions
Half moon, half mystery. I asked nicely. She answered in Mega Millions.
Mega Millions
Thin sliver of moon before sunrise. I set an alarm, wore slippers to the porch, and wrote down whatever looked the most silver.
Powerball
Too cloudy to see the moon, so I read her from memory. She has a very consistent vibe.

My cardboard telescope got rained on and now it bends a little left. The moon looked very tilted tonight. So did the 7.
Mega Millions
Waning crescent, gibbous's quiet cousin. I have strong feelings about gibbous, but the crescent showed up, so these wore her silver.
Powerball
Spilled coffee on my moon calendar again. Saturday is now a brown ring. The moon doesn't mind. She's been circled by worse.
Mega Millions
Half moon tonight, lit on one side like she's only half listening. I hummed my most dramatic hum anyway. She kept these ones in silver.

Hello, night owls. I’m Ivy Crescentine, a stargazer who talks about the moon far more than is socially acceptable. I have a cardboard telescope, a moon calendar with coffee stains, and strong feelings about gibbous phases.
First I check the moon phase and put on the matching mood: crescent, half, gibbous or full. Then I squint at the sky, hum something dramatic, and write down the numbers that feel the most silver. Every set gets a little moonlit caption, like “waxing crescent energy” or “full moon sparkle.”
